American Gold Finch - Male  is created to assist teachers to educate students about birds by donating a top-of-the-line hummingbird feeder, a Kids4Birds mug with Hummingbird Nectar Recipe on the back, and your choice of a Sibley fold-out hummingbird guide for your classroom, as shown below.  If you live in Southern California in the Inland Empire (Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, and Winchester) this also includes a free lecture on the joy and benefits of birdfeeding.

This donation program is for elementary, middle and high schools only, preferrably for ones already investing in conservation education, such as, starting an organic garden or similar activities.

We teach about the various commercial bird seeds available, plus the right kind of birdfeeders and suggestions about where to purchase them.

We also have a Teacher's Resource section with lots of teaching tools for the classroom through other conservation organizations via internet (ie., the Merlin app for your phone to identify birds), a Nature Center Comparison of centers within driving range of this area for your class to perhaps visit, and more.  Click on the tabs at the  top of this page.
